In the beautiful countryside between 2 small mountains and several lakes is located a small village called Granitovo, just 120 km from the beach and the Bourgas International Airport (1,5 hour drive), and about 200 km from the famous winter resort Pamporovo. This village is located 25 km from the border with Turkey.
The Bulgarian Government is now investing huge amounts of money for infrastructure and modernizations, as in 1 year time a Customs-house and first class road to Istanbul and the Turkish Sea coast will be built in the area.
The people in this village are nice and welcoming.
The village has around 2000 inhabitants. There are shops, bar, cable TV, main water supply, telephone lines, etc. The nature around is beautiful: few natural lakes, a river, forests, hills. Regular public busses are running to Bourgas, Elhovo and Yambol.
The prices of the houses here are between 1300 and 10000 GBP.
My personal opinion is that this could be an excellent investment with long term potential, with very small risk because of the small amount of invested money.
